To create a custom template with fonts and font sizes you prefer: Later, if you want to revert the templates to their original fonts, deselect the “Set font and size for new documents” checkbox. Note that your setting applies to new documents you create afteryou set the preference nothing changes in existing documents.
Click the arrows next to Font Size to choose a font size, or type a value in the text field. Click the Font pop-up menu and choose a font. Select the checkbox next to “Set font and size for new Basic documents”. Choose Pages > Preferences (from the Pages menu at the top of your screen). Other paragraph styles use the same font, and their sizes adjust according to the font size relationships of the original template. The font and font size you choose apply to the Body paragraph style. Each time you begin a new document using these templates, the font and font size you selected are used. You can set a default font and font size for the templates in the Basic category. It’s easy to change in a document, but a bit trickier to change permanently. The default font for body text in Apple’s Pages word processing app is 11-point Helvetica Neue.
